Chinese Furnaces
Many customers are lured by low-price, good-looking Chinese box furnaces trying to dominate the market and sold by various Internet trading Chinese companies claiming to have their own factories. The truth is that there are only couple factories fabricating these furnaces (that's why they all like-alike, clones). We visited these trading companies and some factories in China. We have bought several models from their production for our investigation and market research. After one year of strict scrutiny we concluded the following:
These Chinese furnaces are fabricated using cheap and low-quality parts intended for occasional and short run heating processes with minimum longevity. We observed that the furnace insulation started peeling-off after few heating runs where the roof collapsed beyond repair. Moreover the inefficient insulation could not heat property the chambers drawing excess current and causing the heating elements to prematurely break due to overheating and the transformer to overload. The transformer is made of mixed alloy (copper--aluminum) without thermal fuse protection resulting in premature failure after few runs. The power management control is of poor quality resulting in a large tolerance of error between SV and PV. The fuses used are of cheap quality and do not properly protect the instruments and parts. There are other problems with these Chinese-made furnaces including the absence of expert technical support and the problematic replacement of the spare parts. Moreover, the moment they got your money, you are at their mercy and there is nowhere to complain or do anything.

All above are concluded with the motto: You get what you pay for. Can you take your chances when your load is valuable gems?
